Treks in the Wild World features globe trekkers from Lonely Planet traveling to remote and somewhat unexplored areas around the globe engaging in adrenaline- filled, cutting edge adventures ranging from ice climbing in the Andes mountains to kayaking remote northern oceans with orca whales.


1. Colorado

Holly Morris hikes and mountain bikes through the breathtaking beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA and the former goldmining settlement of Carson along a spectacular stretch of the Colorado Trail.

2. Caribbean

Zoe Palmer travels to the spectacularly beautiful Caribbean islands of St Lucia, Martinique and Montserrat. On the island of St Lucia, Zoe hikes the majestic Gros Piton mountain.

3. Albania

Zay Harding travels through two of Europe’s least-known and most spectacular countries, Bosnia-Hercegovina and Montenegro, which were both once part of the former war-torn country of Yugoslavia.
